Precautions for selecting stainless steel reaction kettle

The stainless steel reactor is mainly composed of three parts: the tank body, the jacket, and the stirring system. Stainless steel reaction kettle is a widely used reaction tank for heating, evaporation, cooling, or low high speed mixing in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and food. In daily production, when choosing a reactor, we can refer to the following points to select the reactor.

  1. According to the volume of the reaction kettle: The volume of the stainless steel reaction kettle can be designed as 5010030050010002000L according to customer needs Equal volume;

 

  1. According to the required reaction pressure of the reaction vessel: if it is only used for reaction under normal pressure conditions, a conventional stainless steel reaction vessel can be selected. If it needs to be used under high pressure conditions, a high-pressure stainless steel reaction vessel must be selected;

 

  1. Heating methods: Stainless steel reaction kettle heating methods include electric heating, steam, thermal oil and other heating methods. When choosing a heating method, it should be determined according to the requirements of the production materials, and different heating methods can achieve different higher temperatures.

 

  1. The selection can be based on the viscosity and acidity/alkalinity of the produced material: the viscosity of the production material is directly related to the reaction kettle agitator. If the viscosity of the production material is high, the required stirring torque of the reaction kettle agitator will be large, otherwise it will be small. The acidity and alkalinity of production materials are directly related to the material of the reaction vessel. Different materials have different degrees of acid and alkali resistance;

 

In addition to the above points, when choosing a stainless steel reactor, you should also pay attention to the following:

 

  1. The type of agitator should be selected based on the volume of the liquid being stirred;

 

  1. Choose different models for the viscosity of different stirred liquids;

 

  1. Generally speaking, when the volume of the reaction vessel is greater than 500m ³, a side inlet type is used, and a propeller type agitator is suitable for the impeller;

 

  1. According to the mixing speed required by the process, it is advisable to use a turbine or propeller stirrer for rapid mixing to achieve liquid mixing or stable solid particle suspension;

 

  1. Considering the heat transfer method, it is advisable to use an anchor stirrer for jacket heating; The heating structure with coils installed in the tank should use a propeller agitator or turbine agitator.
